Cunningham Hockey Training Presents:

HUSKY HOCKEY SCHOOL

2019 CAMPS / CLINICS

About Husky Hockey School

Huskies are known as one of the smartest & hardest working animals + they will exert their maximum strength and effort when called upon.  For their pack/team a husky WANTS to run, a husky WANTS to pull, and every husky WANTS to go as fast as possible.  A husky and a hockey player have the same mentality.  A hockey player and a husky will do whatever it takes to persevere, they both have a profound rest/recovery cycle, and they are tough as nails mentally & physically, despite the circumstances.

At Husky Hockey School it’s our goal to develop fast thinking, hard/smart working, tough hockey players.  We teach a blend of European / North American power skating & skills from our combined Pro, NCAA, USHL, NAHL, BCHL & Midget AAA experience.  I refuse to waste any of my coaches time… Or yours… So we only teach techniques and execution that we know will make you perform better on the ice.

If you want to reach the next level, achieve the goals you set for yourself, or work on your game… Husky Hockey School will be the place for you this summer.  For more information on our staff/camps/registration continue reading!

Are you a big physical player and taking too many penalties? Or a smaller player, tired of getting pushed around in the corners? Awesome! This camp is for YOU! In the Body Contact and Battle Camp we teach you how to use physical play to best suit your play style and give you an edge in all areas of the ice. We will simulate small area game situations to help teach players to protect themselves and be effective in high contact areas. Each weekly session will consist of a 1 hour ice session and 30 minutes of off ice full gear contact training.

Offense / Defense Development Camp

Ages: Mite/ Squirt / Pewee / Bantam / Midget

Dates + Times

July 15-18

9:00am – 5:00pm Every Day

About:
How do you play 2 on 1 as a D man?   How do you play a 2 on 1 as a forward?  What should you be thinking and where should you be going if you’re the player with the puck?  What should you be thinking/doing if you’re the player without the puck?  Situational hockey can be the difference between who gets noticed at tryouts vs. who gets lost in the pack.  Know exactly who to backcheck, how to play a 3 vs. 2, understand the weak and strong side of the ice, and develop some hockey sense from REAL NCAA DI, Junior A, and former professional hockey players.   Each day: 2 Off – Ice Sessions plus 2 On ice sessions, video analysis of NHL and D1 players and Nutrition Training. Lunch is provided.

Price: $499

This camp is basically a bag skate every day.  We really push the kids on & off the ice in order to get them into a tryout mentality.  Recovery and how to rest are also a huge parts of this camp, so we will be teaching them lots of ways to stay loose / strong during the season.   We will skate hard and the kids will earn everything after that.  Each day: 2 Off – Ice Sessions plus 2 On ice sessions, video analysis of NHL and D1 players and Nutrition Training. Lunch is provided.
